04 Sep GOD

Are you hurting? Confused? Restless? Maybe you are a pessimist or depressed and can’t seem to get past negative thoughts. I know I’m not the only one who has been there recently. I was there just this week actually.

I’m not a doctor or psychologist, nor do I speak proper english most of the time. Ha. A lot of times I get so confused by myself that I have to just laugh. However, throughout my life (regardless of anything) there has been a single message burning in my chest — one that always seems to help calm me down no matter what’s going on:

Say what? God is in control. That means He’s got it figured out. He knows what in the world (and out of it, for that matter) is going on. I don’t have the answers, the reasons, or the understanding. I never will. But God does, and he ALWAYS will. He’s known our tomorrow since before the beginning of the world, even our 5 seconds from now. Better yet, if we love Him, he’s working every one of our situations together for GOOD…and that’s a promise. That’s a soft place to lay our head! Don’t worry, don’t fear. Pray, be thankful, ask, trust, let go & rest. He’s got it down. He’s got you covered.

Hope you are having a great day, my friend. Keep your head up, “stay your course”, and continue pursuing truth (as long as you figure out a way to share it when you find it)! 🙂

Be blessed,

Hey, just found your music while looking for one of mandisa’s songs. But its nice to know other young people out there who seek God and the truth. God Bless and I myself have some crazy issues to deal with from every direction in life. But God is in control, and I am thankful. I pray good will come your way and you keep strong in faith. God Bless and your music is a blessing!

What you wrote here was wonderful and something that has been on my mind. Thanks for being a voice for Him, and for being a wonderful example of love.

Holly- You are amazing! My friend and I did a music video to your song “Don’t Have Love,” but we’re still working on it. We LOVE you and your songs. Keep on doing what you’re doing!!! (you should come to Virginia Beach!) 🙂

    Hi Holly!

So excited to learn of your music! We heard “Don’t Have Love” on Spirit 105.3 in Washington and immediately had to know who the artist was. We love your style and your message. Keep up the great work and may God bless your use of this precious gift He’s given you!

This is a great message and it shows within our lives that God wants the best for us and that although we may not get what we want the way we want it He does all things in our lives for good. Always trusting Him over my own plan is troubling for me however when I let God take over I see clearer in a matter of speaking. Good blog post thing!

Hi Holly: I heard your song, Through my Father’s Eyes, and thought how perfect that was for my 16-yr-old daughter who is struggling with depression right now. I will pass the song to her and hope and pray that she finds something that she can connect with the song. Praying for healing for my daughter.
