There are Birdies Outside My Window. Goodmorning!

30 Mar There are Birdies Outside My Window. Goodmorning!

Woke up this morning to the sweet singing birdies outside my window =), and can’t get you off my mind. So I wanted to let you know that I am praying for you. That I care about you, and love you. I want you to know how thankful I am for your friendship, and how much I appreciate the support and prayers you consistently provide for me. I praise God for you, and for all that is going on in your life–knowing without a shadow of a doubt that whatever it may be, he is using that to teach you a bigger understanding of himself. LOVE.

1 John 4:16 tells us that God is love. It’s what He is! How can we think that anything happening in our life is because God hates us, when if he was anything other than love, he wouldn’t be the God he says he is?! God is love. Period. Because of this, I know and have confidence that whatever season of life you are in right now that He is teaching you how much deeper his love goes. In my own life, I have been learning how the greatest things I have ever learned and will ever learn have take the longest season of pain or struggle. But without that process I wouldn’t have the perspective on God’s love for me that I do now. He is showing me how I can appreciate and love the process. It’s produced so many beautiful new chapters of understanding in my life that I wouldn’t trade for anything.

Anyway…I just wanted to stop in, say THANK YOU, and share what’s going through my head this morning, because a lot of times I will be going through a rough season, and one of you will say something on my fb wall or twitter or whatever that God has used to put strength in my bones. =) I appreciate you! May God’s grace and peace be with you all today and forever.

He Loves You! and get this: NOTHING can separate us from his love. =)

Your sister,

    Hello, Holly!

I just wanted to thank you so much for your blog posts, they are exactly to me what others do for you; Often when I am going through a rough time, you will post something and God will use it to “put strength in my bones” (I like how you put that). For instance, I recently felt called into the music ministry as a worship leader (totally out of my comfort zone and ability), and was really having a hard time struggling with fear and doubts. The very moment I needed it most, God had you post your 3rd video blog, encouraging those who felt called into ministry but felt inadequate! You (along with a few other worship leaders around my age) have given me hope that God is still raising up true worshipers for the next generation, who will lead in spirit and in truth. Your blog is evidence of this, since you lead worship not only on stage but also offstage by encouraging others in what God is doing in your life.

Thank you for allowing God to grow you in wisdom and humility, and then sharing it with us. I feel like this is lopsided in a way… I am always so encouraged by your blog, and yet because I don’t have Facebook or Twitter I have no way of returning the encouragement as you mentioned others do. Maybe someday when God forms my ministry I will have a blog that will in turn bless you in some way. =)

Although we live on opposite ends of the country, I still hope for the possibility of thanking you in person someday for the profound ways God has used you to encourage me in this critical time of my ministry. I am proud to have you as a sister in Christ, and just as Paul encouraged churches in their work from afar, you encourage me from afar in the work God has called me to do. =)

    Thanks again, keep it up!
